Losing Sight of Justification

Satan’s strategy is to whisper when you are down. . . . For Spurgeon, it is the doctrine of justification personally applied and experienced that Satan seeks to undo in the Lord’s preachers. Spurgeon exhorted Christians that they must expect that when they lose sight of their sense of justification, when they are conscious of sin and feel unfit to minister before God, ‘just then,’ the enemy ‘will come to accuse’ them.
